Little Loupe does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.

Data Collection

Little Loupe collects no data. Specifically:

• No analytics. No usage tracking, no event logging, no telemetry.
• No network requests. Little Loupe never connects to the internet. There is no server.
• No accounts. No sign-up, no login, no email collection.
• No crash reporting. No third-party crash or error reporting services.
• No advertising. No ad SDKs, no tracking pixels, no identifiers.

Data Storage

All data created by Little Loupe (color history, palettes, preferences) is stored locally on your Mac in:

~/Library/Application Support/Loupe/

This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

Little Loupe uses zero third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect data.

Screen Recording Permission

If you use the magnified loupe picker, macOS will ask for screen recording permission. This permission is used exclusively to capture the pixels under your cursor for color sampling. No screen content is stored, transmitted, or logged.
